Carmina Ndahiro is a self-taught photographer from Rwanda and Finland. She focuses on documentary photography, sharing different stories of culture and everyday people living in Rwanda.
She began her photography career working for Campeedia, a media platform at African Leadership University, Rwanda and then moved into freelance work.
Her work is centred around providing a voice for those who do not get media attention and to provide a different perspective of life by capturing authenticity. Her approach to photography is empowering minorities and telling their stories to initiate conversation and change.
Carmina is currently based in Kigali, Rwanda and is available for assignments.
